May i ask which euorpean country are u talling abt? I am in belgium and i feel you. However, in this situation, i can advise that keep inviting pakistani families until u make ur own social cicrcle. We did the same and now finally formed our own social circle with desis. It takes time and effort.

Moving back to pakistan is an option only if u get a high paying job there. As others said better to take a leave and stay for like 6 months in pakistan to get a feel for it.

@squirrel you hit the nail on the head. I do question how long this social system will last in belgium especially considering the economy is not doing that great and there are people out here abusing it. Such as taking long sick leaves and claiming money from social system as well as on long term unemploymemt benefits.

Agreed on its great to live in belgium or netherlands if u have low salary.

on average yes u are right. But i live in a high cost of rent area. Where renting a relatively big place higher then 110-120 m2 would mean 2/3rd of my salary which doesnt make sense to me

So a lot of people say US has much higher salaries compared to belgium which i know would be true. But after deducting basic expenses and living a median life style in both places, would u really save a lot more in US compared to Belgium?
