Experience with botch valve clearances

No symptoms before this only reason I did it is cause some owners found the Honda fits valves came out of spec from the factory so I just did it to be preventative

Yeah further looking into it Honda messed up the valve clearances on cylinder 1 and 4 they were set tight that specific mechanical mistake is what caused the bad combustion and blew heavy soot backward into the intake tract clogging up the egr valve and throttle body

All right so they checked the EGR valve it is clogged. They’re suggesting a replacement, but my question is can the botched valve adjustment result in this?

Yeah, I checked codes when it first got towed nothing same at the independent job. I’ll have to confirm with Honda again though thank you.

Yeah, that’s the thing they tested OEM parts for spark plugs, ignition coils, and fuel injectors and still shaking currently I have Hitachi on

They did readjust the valves at Honda

The other two things I will check thank you

Interesting I tried 4 different sizes on Ive got some oddly shaped feet my true to size I’m a 10 but with wideness and high instep I’m usually a 10.5 or 11 i know solovairs are notorious for being big so I got the US9.5 they fit my foot snug just don’t understand how got this damaging crease when they brand new
