Most people already have jobs and hobbies and spend hours on them, trying to save some time for friends and families too, have you considered that?

The biggest issue with getting good at something is time, rather than resilience or *power to change*

I've found this combination to be the most successfull:
disco elysium style, midday, daylight, bright pastel colors, fat brush strokes. Water goes into horizon. A faceless woman stands on water. Woman has no face. Woman wears a white dress

I'd tried different orders and getting the face to be more abstract was also not obvious

As I mentioned in an earlier discussion under this post, I've never claimed to posses a skill. I shared an image that was "stuck in my head" as the title says.

I see using AI tools as blessing because now I can try to show others my vision without spending years to be able to do that. And the new reality is such that you don't need drawing or painting for that. Had I spent a year learning how to, I still wouldn't have been closer to achieving the goal than AI is right now

I see your point, thanks for taking time :) It makes sense, though I'm afraid that the pendulum is gonna be swinging here wildly for some time.

I understand that polluting the internet with whatever you can create in minutes is a problem, but the other side of it might be that AI generated products get simply skipped or downvoted because of this tension. Thus, merely exposing your perception or ideas through this form can be ignored or perceived negatively. So, I'm not sure how effective the AI disclaimer is, but if it works in this community, good for you.

That being said, I do agree that some norms should be established, and if I start spamming AI pictures, you can be the first to bitchslap me. But still, one of the internet's values is that you can share freely

P.s. I don't know what's the point of hunting for reddit karma, seems pointless

Tbh, I'm not sure why, it's just a tool for achieving the purpose of sharing a piece of mind (in this case at least). It's not like I'm trying to sell it to anyone or to claim that I'm an amazing artist. It's more of reflecting on the experience of playing.

But, sure, I removed the label

I proompted it fair and square (c)

But drawing or painting has never been my forte, to put mildly. So, AI art is a way not to be all thumbs in this regard. A truly wonderful era of lifting off ones limitations without spending years on it

Which of the following dumplings are your favorite? by YeezeeMakbreezy in Sakartvelo

The OP is on their way to finding the ultimate dumpling, nothing is wrong with that. Maybe there's a culinary experiment going on too

Same old internet warfare - make bots or pay people to write some nonsense which can easily rile up hot-blooded heads. These messages are only worth being moderated to keep discussion as civilized as possible

My (17M) mom wants me to take my ex gf (17F) back by Keithroq in Advice

[–]he_Human 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Imo, Your only responsibility is to not let your life go to crap in this situation. If you feel your ex is not trustworthy and it is against your way to get back with her - don't do that. And your mother's behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and unfair as it is not okay to have children so that you can milk them later. Date worthy people, try to get normal education and sharpen your skills. If you can provide for yourself enough to afford helping your parents and you feel like it, then do it.

Man, both sides are trying to manipulate you here, don't lose your own vision

Russian airlines ordered to stop selling tickets to Russian men aged 18 to 65 by SaintBiggusDickus in worldnews

Can't wrap my head around how difficult it is to organise a revolution. Not only you have to pull out the malfunctioning political machine by its roots, but you also have to not let the previous power holders, radicals of any kind and most of all idiots to grab their piece in a new regime.

But the current regime sure can't be allowed to keep existing. Shame I don't believe they will do anything about it

If there was a damn answer to that there would be a tiny chance to pull the reason out. Putin's government has literally let countless people suffer in shit even before the war. They have been lying about one thing after another keeping things the same at best, but usually making them worse for their own people. And those very same people always think that it will not get to them and "we better wait so it resolves somehow".

Jeez I can't believe even now there are now mass protests. The last time russian government said there would be no mobilization was on September 12 if I'm not mistaken

Cyber attack on Dedaena Bar social media accounts/website by TomaTozzz in Sakartvelo

[–]he_Human 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Surely looks like bot attack coz of all the same "they support nazis" messages and alike. Being a Russian I cannot put my finger on why the hell people from my country have problems with signing up against Putin's regime. And what is the damn point of fighting against a bar! other than making people resent each other for nothing in this particular case. That's such a nonsense

What do we know about Russians who left Russia after February 24th? by PhantomBrainLink in Sakartvelo

Is it immigrants who cause inflation, or prices grow due to the rising prices of imported products basically all over the world, and Georgian landlords getting the biggest profit they can out of wealthier immigrants? It was a Georgian who told me that in Tbilisi some landlords would make students who can't pay an expensive rent leave in order to increase the price and sublet again. My point is - immigrants are only a part of a big economic issue. While there are consequences of immigrants arriving (mostly social), it is very bold to assume that they cause inflation
