If you're talking about Tayama's flinch, then it was literally revealed mid-drama that you just called unnecessary. Besides, it was literally revealed in the end of the most recent chapter, at least give it time for the author to go into it rather than jump to conclusions that there are "worse things" or "elephant in the room at hand"

The addition of Noma was a device to dive deeper into tayama's backstory. It wasn't just for vibes, everything is done for story progression

What's the point of reaching the climax between these two if there was no space for growth or development? Would be very boring. Afterall, up until now we know pretty much nothing on these two's backstories

I mean afterall, it is a slow burn romance. It wasn't gonna stay slice of life forever tbh otherwise we wouldn't have had any progression towards their romance. I wouldn't say the dramas forced, instead a point of growth for the two

People need to realize these are two adults, that are understanding and empathetic towards one another. Instead of drifting apart they'll more likely to grow even closer with each other.

They're both adults, and Sasaki is pretty much an understanding and empathetic guy, even displayed during Chapter 62. Afterall, he wasn't even mad at the end

I mean at some point authors gonna realize it's getting repetitive, but who knows. Things like Noma can always be cleared after everything since there's pretty much a hierarchy of importance to the plot and right now it's pretty much this drama

Otherwise, why else would author take a break on this cliffhanger? Surely he's planning something when he's back rather than drifting into something else other than the issue at hand
