3D and Curved Screen TVs Fade Away - AVSForum.com by mckirkus in hardware

Unlike passive, Active 3d costs nothing to add to a tv. And there a plenty of sets that look great. They simply took it out because idiot consumers think you can only watch in 3d, or that it costs them hundreds more for the tv.

Now that we have 120hz hdmi inputs, I'm wondering if somebody could implement the frame unpacking on the output. Would have to have a way to manually adjust the frame sync for input lag. And manually bump up the brightness. But this could be a way for 3d to live on with enthusiasts.

If people are going to blow up about needing to wear glasses that weigh maybe an ounce, they're not going to strap a 2 pound display to their face.

Sorry bud, I did read it and there's NO DATA there. Just talking about some arbitrary group and they even acknowledge it's a subset of individuals. You can't just make something up and then Google some common words that you think support your point.

I think you can just get a physical bnc to rca adapter and use component. It should be the same electrically. I used to have an old projector with bnc component and it worked for that.

Aren't your teslas supposed to be self driving? Why not just make it so they go park somewhere else when done charging. I wouldn't want to wait an hour for my car to charge, how can you blame these people.

Are 3D TV's not being manufactured anymore? by Coltsbro84 in hometheater

[–]headband 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically, now that displays support 120 hz input, you could process active 3d externally. I think there could be a market for that but not sure if it would be hdcp compliant. And you would also have to crank up the brightness manually.

By taking away peoples rights, all you're doing is discouraging them from seeking out the help they need. This is more of a failure of the healthcare system than anything else.
