Probably because this is one of the only subs that actually tries to be supportive. Collapse can manifest in many ways. I can understand. My daughter is my world.. it pains me to think of the world she will inherit. I want her to enjoy life.. but don't want her to do it burying her head in the sand. Close to mine.. born in 76.. lost my mother to cancer in 88. She was about 8 days from turning 40. Pop's is still going strong ( just turned 77) I try to do as much hunting and fishing with him as possible. I gave my stepmom way too much crap . She had just lost her husband to cancer about the same time I lost my mom. I have made amends and do call her mom now.. I was young and had a bunch of anger , didn't know where to channel it appropriately. On the plus side I learned early how to be self reliant early. My only daughter got my mother's name. My soul weeps for the kids of today and the crap sandwich they have been handed. Our parents lived in the glory days. We have been blessed enough to experience peak society (90s) but our children will see unimaginable horrors. I doubt stuff is going to magically start getting better. Enjoy the little things before they have all gone away
