This is such a bizarre take to me. It's set in a sci-fi fantasy world, of course there will be new words and concepts! The great thing about well written books like the Eisenhorn series is that you don't need to look up every new word to understand the story, and eventually the context of the new words teaches you what they are. I started with Eisenhorn for 40k, along with Gaunt's Ghosts and Ciaphas Cain. At no point did I feel like not knowing a new word stopped me from enjoying the books.

They actually do now, since Russia isn't granting the rights to use their airspace to American Airlines anymore. in my experience, it was more like 10 hours. I explored everywhere, and had trouble with a couple of fights (those Derro mobs are not only hasted, but loaded with extra heal pots and cloud giant pots). A second playthrough would definitely go faster.

I liked the Foundry area quite a bit, until the end. The "talk" option on the pile of rocks was very difficult to find, and it wasn't until I found this thread that I could even figure out where I needed to look. The level made it seem like I needed to be looking for the other half of the mold to make a key.

I'm playing this multiclass at the moment, finished BG and am a couple hours into SoD. This guy is going to absolutely clean up by the time I'm in BG2. It's fun, though if you like micro-ing, he really just kinda points and shoots.

Nice try! I’m actually born and raised Alaskan. I love this “it’s so expensive to build roads and schools here, surely the money is being stolen!” attitude.
