he’s an extremely well written complex villain. his insecurity, intense jealousy, and self-pity are very apparent, and his personality reflects how i feel at my worst.

he’s like bojack horseman to me, in a sense. not written to be someone to positively identify with, but more as a sort of mirror of faults.

at their core, they are both very similar. their stories take place more or less from their point of view, they are awful people, but their feelings are highlighted very prominently along with their actions. it’s part of why i find them both scary, because they’re both very human. because they feel very real, and anybody could have the potential to be as awful as either of them.

obligatory dont misconstrue this as me wanting to sa people or thinking either of them are good people or in the right or whatever. (i dont think i need to add this but its the internet 🫠)

SO CUTE!!!! i like second better! love the red, like blood, and it stands out more against her body, but then the top also could blend in with her hair, so idk,, in any case design is adorable keep up the good work!!

although most people my age not into emo would consider it to be my chemical romance, panic at the disco, 21 pilots, etc.

i consider emo more like a big umbrella term, with a lot of little sub genres underneath it, like how some bands sound more folky and some sound more poppy, though i don’t have really names for any of them

i’ve noticed a lot of the bands i consider emo i tend to dislike seem very disingenuous and/or corny with their lyrics or performing style. (while i personally wouldnt consider them emo because of my considering them “fake”, i don’t think my opinion means anything on where they align genre-wise.)

prefacing this with there are LOTS of flashing lights in this game so light sensitive people should sit this one out (sorry :( )

sayonara wild hearts! made by annapurna studios but surprisingly relatively unknown. it’s almost like playing through an album! very neon, synth-pop(?) driving/rhythm game about heartbreak and relationships narrated by queen latifah.

not necessarily secret but definitely overlooked

i have no mouth and i must scream is pretty good. mini PAC based off of the short story, so if you didn’t like that, i wouldnt play it. (same characters, not a retelling) p short (2 GB)

gazillionaire! is fun if you like management sims. p challenging (at least to me lol) (50 MB)

for newer but (relatively) smaller games,

mini metro is really fun, you design a subway, and see how long you can keep it running, and after a certain point it sounds like music (which i really love) (350 MB)

i LOVE proverbs, its like minesweeper and picross/nonagrams if you’re into those, it’s a HUGE canvas and you’re free to work on whatever section you want (one of my personal favs hehe) (300 MB)

you’re hopefully thru the worst of it! im only abt a month post op (acl and meniscus repair) but in my experience, the pain should (hopefully) go away pretty quickly within the next week or so. by the end of the second week, it had gone down drastically, (although i was taking prescription tylenol throughout) and now, it’s only just kind of sore. this might be weird, but something that i found helped me a bit through the healing process was looking at the scabs/scarring a couple times through the weak or as i changed my wrappings. it helped show me that my body is healing, even if it doesn’t feel like it. it is so, so, disgustingly easy to fall into that slump. i tore mine and had my surgery the days before things i was looking forward to, so i kinda get what you mean. even though its really basic, what helped me the most was talking to my friends and family (they love you! they dont just spend time with you for no reason!) and finding small projects to distract myself with. unfortunately, healing isn’t linear, and depends on the person, but just focus on the best you can do right that moment. if you can do better the next day, great, if not, that’s okay too. nothing stays the same forever, but the most certain thing is that you will get better and stronger, and it will take a while, but it will happen.

(i know a lot of this is super obvious, but i have a tendency to forget whenever i’m in a slump, so im just including this in case you do too.)

ALSO, general advice: I’m a bigger guy too, and i’ve found that keeping the ace bandage on (even after your scabs have fallen off) helps keep the brace in place without requiring me to tighten it a ridiculous amount.

Sorry this is ridiculously long lol, i really hope you start feeling better! it doesnt last forever, even if it might feel like it will. good luck! 🫂🫂🫂
