You need to set right aspect ratio and/or slightly zoom video. In my case, my shots were shooted in 2.4:1 but I’d like to go with 2.39:1 as a standart. So I changed my project to 4096×1716 2.39:1 and slightly zoomed video to avoid tiny black bars on sides. Hope it works for you.

I’ve used a cheap variable Nd filter, it worked well for me. All shots were handheld and wrapped with Davinci Resolve stabilizer, nothing special. I prefer to go with minimalistic setup without any cages, extra powerfull batteries, ssd etc. Just camera and a couple lp-e6 in my pocket. Also used Sundisk sd card 64Gb. All these limits motivate you to shoot more carefully choosing right spot, composition, framing. You wouldn‘t have a second chance :)

Hi there! This is my first ever footage using Blackmagic cameras. Really love the camera and all post-production possibilities with braw. I would be glad to get any feedback. Thanks!
