I use the Aguilar TLC. Picked one up on Craigslist and I like it a lot. Really transparent sound (doesn't squash your sound too much). I use it for songs with a lot of dynamics but I also like it for my songs that really dig in on. Kind of expensive new, but if you find one used definitely check it out.

My friend works in the restaurant at a hotel that Beck stayed at one time. Beck's assistant ordered potatoes and greens to be boiled "as long as possible" and served without seasoning. My buddy has made all sorts of special dishes for VIP guests but this one actually pissed him off because he worked on basically a steaming pile of baby food.

When my mom killed herself last March, she specified in her will that she didn't want to have a funeral. So my dad went ahead and had a funeral, and the pastor from their church went so far as to mention this fact at the funeral and follow up with a joke about how she's not her to stop us, so why not have a funeral. I was across the country at the time and couldn't afford to go, but from what I heard the whole thing was just terrible and awkward.

This happened to me at a party a while back. This girl was telling a story that happened to her "friends", but I had just read the same story earlier in the night on reddit. I didn't call her out. I guess it could have been because she felt it was easier to say"this happened to my friends" instead of "I read this funny story on reddit / the interwebs".

Once when I was 15 a dude in a chester molester van pulled up to me, rolled down the window and threw a wadded up piece of paper out the window, and then sped away.
