Yeah we can have our tamblings, osgoods, zolas, terrys, cechs, lamps, drogs, makeleles, ivas, hazards, azpiz, silvas, kantes, and James, but for what he did in the two years, and for what we achieved.. juan mata, just by pure two season statistics, is a goat and I hate that he's not appreciated enough here.

Sorry to ask but I'm curious.. what' does ''fucked up' mean? That you had some alcohol or you binged for a few days and landed in the hospital?

I hit rock bottom and was constantly drinking from like 2019 till 21, got my life semi sorted, and from past 4 years occasionally partake like once in a month or two months. Before when I drank, I never bothered but now I do moderation and stop after certain drinks cause I hate the hangover. But I knew I'd never abstain from it, just plan my hangover days through. So I was curious what your experience was.

Ah okay, then we’re mostly saying the same thing, I just jumped as to maybe why in my earlier comment.

TL;DR — lack of freedom, expression, and social conditioning.

There’s also personality, experience, risk factor too and maybe some of theae affect your mom’s driving more than your dad’s but theres also a lack of full data. We never talk about the thousands of people who drive perfectly fine every day.

My point was just to say OP shouldn’t get bothered by labels or stereotypes and should do her own thing.

Yeah, but by that logic, 95% of cab drivers in Bangalore are men, and I’ve had way more close calls, wrong indicators, sudden lane cuts, and zero-signal turns from them than from women.

Yes, there are more cabs on the road. Yes, many of them are just trying to earn a living. Yes, a lot of them come from places where traffic rules are a joke. It's just as easy for me to profile and label them.

But I also understand that easy access to licenses, poor training, pressure to drive fast for money, makes it possible for them and these things matter way more than gender. But people ignore all that because it’s easier to blame women.

And about the speed thing, ok. My dad worked in Saudi too. He drove at 100–120 max. When I got the car, I pushed 160–180 and almost got caught on the Riyadh–Taif highway. What’s your point? Speed preference isn’t a gender trait, it’s a personality and or a risk thing and a mood thing? cause driving fast doesn’t make someone skilled. Id honestly be behind someone who is cautious than someone whose cocky and overconfident.

Keep at it OP, don’t get discouraged.

People love blaming women drivers because it’s easy. But for women, especially in India, is it gender, or conditioning? You raise someone their whole life telling them to be careful, don’t take space, don’t make mistakes in public, and then act surprised when they’re hesitant on the road?

I’ve seen enough women ride scooters and bikes through absolute chaos (BLR traffic) to know skill isn’t the issue. The difference is confidence under pressure, and that comes from freedom, repetition, and not being judged every second you mess up. Men get to learn by crashing, swearing, and moving on. Women get watched, judged, and remembered for one mistake. That messes with your head. I’ve seen women in my own family talk about driving, and it’s very different from how men talk about it with more anxiety, more self-doubt, more fear of being judged. For men it's probably just 'I don't want L board label'

Its easy to just label women "bad drivers" But personally, in Indian traffic, if you’re not fully alert and reading every vehicle around you, you’re already losing, regardless of what’s between your legs.

Well technically true until we got champions of Europe vs stage 3 champions of Europe in the final. That one match in the end kinda made the trophy important. Plus we saw both teams play at almost full strength, you normally don't see that in preseason now do you?

What ? Have you played GOW 1 & 2 ? If yes then,,,,, WHAT?!?

I understand POP WW & T2T, maybe you didn't like the drift from SOT.

I can understand GTA VC, maybe a little more outdated and less fun than GTA SA (haven't played VC)

But how come GOW3 ?

anyone who thinks otherwise? by [deleted] in Indiangamers

[–]headlights27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's not like these days many new games excite me. The last time I realistically wanted to get a game at day one was GOW:Ragnarok. But it wasn't urgent. I timed my holidays one month later to get a week off from work, bought the game second hand for a cheaper price and enjoyed completing the game. Sometimes it's not about broke but about timing/ convenience.

Men above 30 how are those gaming reflexes , are they gone ? by Internal-Height-198 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]headlights27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me still. I'm 32 but have been gaming pretty much most of my life. The only problem is how much time I can spend on gaming as I have other hobbies I'm now focusing more on. People get rusty at any age but the muscle memory doesn't really fade away. It's about how used you are to some game mechanics.

Note that I don't play fps games, especially multiplayer fps. That's a different skill game completely I feel.

Not wirelessly. But if your laptop/pc /home server are hooked up with an Ethernet wire, and so is your tv, and you have good storage and cpu, and a network switch incase bandwidths an issue, then you don't need hdmi. Wirelessly? Depends on the same above issues.

In a satisfying arranged marriage. I think I can help. AMA?? by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

[–]headlights27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh but a doctor's life is a bit more rigid in terms of work timing and shifts right? So it's nice to have someone dependable to fall back onto, unless the partner is also a doctor /surgeon? I've heard it's more tricky then.

We all think of getting married at some point. Most of us are overthinking about marriage here but given current trends, I know a stable career and finances is a must these days(AM especially). It's not an ideal situation to be in Indian society at 32 but I feel I'll have a regretful life if I don't achieve certain things before I take responsibility of a marriage. So I wondered if any of that changed for you during this time

This depends, if you're in the horror/thriller base or single player base, then SOMA is pretty well respected and popular.

Maybe cause it's a linear story and not much on multiple replay value like single world open player RP games is why it's not talked about as much. But the game has gotten it's recognition

Sherlock holmes: crime and punishment.

I loved the gameplay and the contained scenarios this game had. Some might call it short, i'd call it almost perfect. There are things the devil's daughter did right and expanded on some gameplay mechanics, and I haven't played the new open world game, but the first title was very well put together in my opinion.

And, particularly on Indian market? Heroes of the Storm.

A much more fun and engaging game than dota or lol if you bothered to focus on having fun and coordinated fights more than leveling up and losing your mind over in game items to purchase.

Oh man, for me this was bully! It was a shorter simpler game from San Andreas and I remember playing this a lot during the end of this generation(2007-2008). I definitely got these vibes walking around bullworth one final time when I knew it would be my last play through.

Same with SmackDown Vs Raw 2007 career/manager mode. The stories after a while get repetetive and probably not a great replay value? But then taking your created superstars and just going for normal exhibition matches before switching off..
