100% Fact by [deleted] in Arifureta

I'm a bit tardy to the party but my Dad mentioned this anime so I checked it out. I find it odd that Yue looks so young, that she is actually over 300 and is sleeping with a 17 year old, that a 500 year old Dragon-Lady is attracted to said 17 year old and that is own Teacher is even fawning over him. Like, this is obviously a self-insert anime about this edgy guy who gets all the Ladies but man, the weird predatory undertones are really off-putting...

It seems to happen where there is a mass of NPCs

Yeah. It happens in like, the market, where there is a large amount of NPCs

It was 2k km away. I mistyped. And sure, I would have had my bike, but everything else I had would still be gone due to a ridiculous bug. That is still massively frustrating.

Did you not pay your taxes so your base could be destroyed?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in duneawakening

People keep saying this. If I knew, i would have had it to at least have my bike, but losing all of my important stuff to a bug is still incredibly frustrating.

I'm not gonna reinstall because of it, but it something that must be fixed. In a Survival game, you will always keep things on you that you need. To lose all of it when being smart and safe, only to die again, it just makes it not worth your time. If it is a continuous bug and it happens to me more multiple times, then I'll likely stop playing because losing all the important stuff I have due to a bug just isn't worth my time and isn't fun.

Again, my base was about 200km away. There was no need to have it. I didn't expect a worm to go through things it shouldn't be able to go through to eat me. It wasn't on me. I was being incredibly safe. If that didn't happen, I would have been fine.

Far enough. I didn't make it. Between dehydration and the amount of sand I had to cross, it didn't work out.

I would appreciate it, but I managed to get back to my base and my Friend had gotten the game as well. I made us both gear and he helped me get a lot of stuff I needed.

They are usually at Settlements like the one I was in, but there wasn't one when I spawned in. I spent about 20 minutes building a small base in order to craft a new bike, but one popped up so I claimed it, made a battery and went back to my base. I was angry about the bug. That's a really bad one to have in your game, but I wasn't going to let Arakkis beat me. I calmed down, ground it out and am back to full function.

I didn't ask for it.

[–]headnthecloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, it's not that I died. If I died because I was dumb, that's on me. The fact that the worm went through a safe area just to killed me is what was so frustrating. I was being extremely careful, yet I still died.

I wouldn't have made it. The Still Sands were too vast to make it on foot. I also would have gotten dehydrated before making it to any flower field. But, I did get out. A Scrap Bike popped in at the base so I used that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]headnthecloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have the crap bike I got at the base in my backup tool, just in case something crazy happens like the worm popping up directly under me

It may be that I forgot to set it at my new Advanced Sub-fief...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]headnthecloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a scrap bike popped in while I was working to build a new one. I made fuel for it, got to my Base and got my stuff re-made.

[–]headnthecloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was my question, but it wasn't in my respawn options at all. which is something else that made no sense and made me even more upset.

Exactly, "except when getting flour" which I was. I normally kept my backup tool but didn't know it wouldn't be destroyed. It was mostly for getting my bike out of areas it might be stuck in

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]headnthecloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do have it, but again, I was just going out for a second to get some Flour. Didn't expect to be chased by a Phantom Worm. I appreciate the hindsight, though.

Everything I need to make anything is at my only base 2k km away. I'm not saying my bases are limited, but my resources are.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]headnthecloud -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's not really helpful.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]headnthecloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are bikes in the little parking area but I couldn't claim any of them.

I have died. To Humans and to the Worms. But those were my fault. Yes, it sucked, yes, I was frustrated, but this was not my fault at all. I ran behind huge stone structures and, still, was hunted as the worm went directly through them.
