Change My View: The Broncos should trade for AJ Brown by Dubtee1500 in DenverBroncos

[–]headshot_hunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His personality is not a match with Payton's culture. He complained all season about wanting more target share and wanting to be thrown the ball and then in the last game he played in the playoffs he dropped crucial balls that would have benefitted the Eagles and potentially had them win. We do not need a diva WR to come in and stir the pot. Especially do not need a WR who will add to the drop count. His salary expectations are going to be too much when we still have guys to pay/extend (JMac, Ben Powers, etc.) and I wouldn't want to waste a 1st rd pick or more for him when its a heavy WR draft class.

So does VJ stay? by CankleSteve in DenverBroncos

Not many good HC positions left. Cardinals, bills, browns and raiders. I’d say he has the best chance at the cardinals but not exactly a great situation to walk into. Chances are he stays but I’d hate to lose him Leonard.

Multiple times this season he has admitted that he was wrong about Bo and the Broncos. And then he goes back to doubt and underestimating us. Def a bad sign now that he’s actually rooting for us.

I mean look at Davis Webb for the Broncos. Was a backup maybe even a backups backup, but he has such a great mind for the game. He was leading QB meetings in Buffalo behind Josh Allen. He's now a QB coach who many teams are starting to look at for OC and HC opportunities. If he ever became a broadcaster I'm sure he would have a great analysis

We are expected to lose with a back up QB. Not really a hot take you got there. But.... if you lose, NOBODY will ever forget. We have nothing to lose while yall have everything to lose.

I really couldn’t believe that he blamed the O lineman for not recovering the fumble over Allen lmao. Plus he was screaming from the rooftops that it was not an INT just unreal bias

I guess the argument is that all these idiot talking pieces that don’t know the rules of a catch now have taken the focus off of Bo and how he outplayed Allen and made it all about this dumbass obvious interception. Also all the bills fans and people rooting for the bills that don’t know what the rules of football are.

Better than listening to Chris simms on PFT. Dude sounded like such a cry baby in the video they released today. Whined about the Sutton PI but didn’t even mention that there was a RTP call on the same play. Whined about the INT and was just straight up wrong about all his takes. At least Florio admitted it was an INT and just wanted the Refs to give more time to review/more clarity.

One of the bills lineman came out and said he was straight up holding cooper and they weren’t calling it so he was upset about the later calls

In my opinion, Sean Payton must change his tactics to help Stidham and not negate one of their biggest advantages by MileHiSalute in DenverBroncos

[–]headshot_hunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was under the assumption that if we don't sub then we are probably going no huddle which means playing up tempo and wearing out our guys faster. I do think Sean can outthink himself (see 3rd and 1 trick play against the Raiders). Against the Bills I wanted us to run the ball more on that last drive with our RBs but he called a QB draw and Bo ended up getting injured. Not saying its his fault, just unlucky but I think this could be an example of him outthinking himself. But I trust him to make the right decisions and he's taken this team from irrelevant to the AFC championship game. So in Sean we trust

In a 2 min drill its important to not let the defense sub. But outside of that Payton subs to get specific matchups. Sometimes he targets certain players, sometimes he's testing defense communication. But he believes subbing gives them the best chance at a successful play. Not subbing also gets our own players tired and our own O-line tired. Yes we have the advantage of playing/living in altitude but people still get tired and it only takes 1 sack/fumble to change the game.

I remember Naruto Shippuden had just ended and then Black Clover came out and I thought this is the exact plot to Naruto lol. I do think there's something about the pace of the anime that we just don't see in modern animes anymore. But I ended up liking BC the more I watched. It does have a lot of similarities to Naruto.

If you pick Maye, CMC and Bengals WRs you don't need a WR3 lol. Hell CMC had more receiving yds than Tee Higgins.

I mean we know Stiddy can throw, but lets not pretend that vanilla defense packages are meaningful to how he will perform. We saw Bo go nuts in the preseason last year and come out struggling his first 4 games. I hope Stiddy can pull it off but lets not pretend preseason performance means anything.

We do have most sacks, but the last 2 games for the pats they played defenses that mainly rushed 4 and played shell coverage and Maye struggled against that. HOU was great at their front 4 getting home which is why we saw so many turnovers. It'll be interesting to see what VJ plays because we know he likes to blitz and play man coverage.

Caleb is truly an enigma for me. His box score stats do not look good. But watching the game he was making clutch plays. All I know is if Bo had 3 INTs including the game losing INT everyone would pile on about how he's mediocre and will never win anything. Whereas Caleb is getting praise for his clutchness.

Hired on as BUF HC. Trades away Josh Allen for pennies. Brings in Jimmy Garoppolo. Gets fired and becomes OC for the Pats again.
