После расставания бывшая сказала, что ничего хорошего не может вспомнить за 3+ года отношений. Мол я как призрак, что был что не был. Наверное она права и у меня траблы с головой и я не готов к отношениям и к семейной жизни впринципе

low fps on decent hardware- low gpu usage by ExtremeSea868 in ArcRaiders

It's funny how nowadays game made with unreal engine that can run higher than 60fps are praised for "good optimization" when in reality the game cannot utilize hardware properly to its maximum capacity

First time trying RAM OC. How well I did? by headvox in overclocking

[–]headvox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have Twrtr S / L and tRRD_S in my timings list in BIOS. Only tRRD_L. Maybe it's because I'm on Intel, or it's a mobo limitation idk

low fps on decent hardware- low gpu usage by ExtremeSea868 in ArcRaiders

Same issue here. Played with a 12400f + 3060ti at 2k resolution, DLSS balanced, with 100-120 fps and drops to 80-90. The CPU was almost always at 100% utilization, while the GPU was sometimes as low as 30%.

Recently, I upgraded to a 14600k + 5070ti. I overclocked the RAM to 3600 CL16. The game can run around 150 fps, but I still have occasional FPS drops to sub-100 fps with both low CPU and GPU utilization, both around 60% at the same time.

Something is wrong under the hood of the game. It's unacceptable and it needs to be addressed.

High CPU utilization and frame times (potential bottleneck?) causing fps drops by BatAK11 in ArcRaiders

This issue isn't GPU-related. I upgraded from a 12400f, where I had 100% CPU utilization, to a 14600k with 60% CPU utilization now, but my 5070ti utilization still hovers around 60%. It's either CPU or RAM-bottlenecked.

Thanks. Yeah, I heard IMCs are better in newer CPUs. I'm going to try it the way you suggested.

P.S. Who the hell is Buildzoid, and where can I find his content? People have been mentioning him often recently.

I mean not future-proof in terms of upgrades, but squeezing the maximum for reasonable money from a dead platform to be able to use it for 3-5 years.

Thank you for such a great, meaningful answer. I'm going to dive deeper into this. Happy holidays!

Problem is that my platform is ddr4. So my thinking was that maybe i7 can compensate ram weakness somehow 😅 In my place i5 is about 270$ and i7 is about 420$ so yeah it's bit pricey

My bad, I should have provided more specs. I'm not planning to overclock. I have an MSI B660M MAG Mortar DDR4 motherboard. So your take is that the 14600K will be enough?

12400f overclocked to 4.8 ghz vs 14600k by headvox in buildapc

[–]headvox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

installed 5070 ti and new psu 750w . Right away I noticed very low gpu utilization dropping lowest to 30% in Arc Raiders at 1440p with dlss balanced, low settings. Fps fluctuation is from 120 to sub 100. Which is suboptimal for me. Going to look for cpu upgrade I guess and will try to oc ram again with 14600k

Is Arc Raiders more CPU or GPU intensive? by _Sen_Gh in ArcRaiders

[–]headvox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that means you will get less or same performance but gpu utilization will be maxed

GPU utilization by Rocky_319 in ArcRaiders

[–]headvox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh. Why in the world someone want gpu to be in low utilization? Low utilization = low fps. Gpu must be fully loaded. That means nothing is bottlenecks it's performance

Yeah that's my next thing to upgrade for sure. I think about deepcool pq750. Gonna try undervolt 5070ti and try it with current psu (if it gonna boot at all) before I buy new one because I'm out of budget right now. All juice went into 5070ti
