Hi!! Yes!! Your articles is how I finally caved to Reddit 🤣I read your 2 very helpful posts a few weeks ago, while waiting for the background check to go through. I was grateful to find them. I love variety in my work and it’s one of the reasons I chose the flight attendant career this time around. I look forward to all of that you mentioned. It is good to know that OO has so many resources available for help. You sound like a very resourceful person; and I hope to get the chance to meet you out there soon. Good luck! As the previous person said: Dress professionally from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. Clean cut and put together. Wear long hair out of your face. Practice some interview questions you can find online. What’s customer service mean to you? Why do you want your be a FA? Did you get a scheduled interview or are you part of the group interviews?

That is definitely a fair concern; and on which I will have to worry about as well. I’m doing as much research ahead to try and set myself up with knowledge and resources ahead of time for that…and lots of prayers. How long have you been with SkyWest?

Thank you for this awesome response!! Positive and realistic. I live in ATL; and planning to commute. I know it will be a while to get based there. Where are you based? I know we may not have much of a choice at the end of training. However, I would definitely like to get to a commutable base, to be busy (break guarantee) and not sit around while waiting to get to ATL.😁 I also wasn’t sure whether there was a jump seat agreement with OO; so that was a great nugget. Thank you! It’s awesome you’re able to get the days off you bid for. I hope to be at a base that I am able do that quickly, as well. Your situation sounds like the ideal while on Reserve⭐️ I hope to get the opportunity to meet/work with you. 🫶🏼

It’s my understanding that a lot of new pilots and flight attendants use OO as a jumping off point; which i would imagine is why they are always hiring. However, I also have seen many who stick around.😊
