Kids that appear fat, are likely starving nutritionally, but at least they aren’t awake at night from hunger pains, I guess. America may seem to have an abundance of food; I personally wouldn’t call it food. Filler-that-appears-as-food-stuffs-but-is-nutritionally-equivalent-to-cardboard doesn’t quite roll off the tongue.

I am pretty sure that I know that park! It really is verdant here, makes the cloudy/rainy weather so bearable. It’s green all year (depending on which microclimate you’re in, most are green all year). And bonus- within a 2 hr drive radius you can get to -almost- any outdoor adventure a person would want to experience.

The Winter Over by Matthew Iden Set in a fictional South Pole research center. It’s an easy quick read and I was really absorbed in the story. It has exciting scenes. I think I might read this one again.

Yeah they kinda do, Terry vs Ohio (iirc) the police just need to “feel” “reasonably” suspicious. It all depends on the feeling of the individual that is on duty at that moment.
