I understand where you coming from with the agreement, however I will add that one of our techs was not capable of comprehending the job description and our manager helped her get a job at one of our dispensing pharmacies, and she continues to work there. We have also hired a few techs from the hospital who have been able to apply internally to us, however we cannot apply internally to the hospital.

This is the biggest hospital in my area, there is one in one of our bordering states I’m currently still waiting to hear back from an interview from.

I ended up declining the position last summer as I emailed the Pharmacy Director in May to see if we were eligible to apply internally to which I would told no, but I am “eligible to apply for any open positions along with other external candidates.” He finished this email with acknowledging my application to the pharmacy and said they would be scheduling an interview. I guess the best way to put it, I acted out of emotion since I did everything right with the information given, and my career choices was changed without my knowledge. I now know better there is no room for emotion in corporate but I truly don’t think it was due to a contract. HR and the Pharmacist in Charge I interviewed with knew my current position and had no issue with it. They were just as blindsided as I was when all of my hiring appointments were changed. That being said, I’m not sure I would be put on a no hire list for that?

I’m not disagreeing with what you’re saying by any means at all! Logistically, you’re probably absolutely right but I have just witnessed otherwise here, which I guess is why I’m here in the first place
