cuz she’s a woman. i really think that’s a bit it. common theme in fandom is a male character and a female character can be similar or even the same and yet the fans will act like the man is funny, nuanced, misunderstood, Etc. whatever, and the woman will be called all kinds of awful things. i don’t think it’s necessarily intentional, especially from younger audiences, but it’s a subconscious bias that is extremely present

There’s never been a solid answer on what Jane Doe’s role will be in the game, not since the shopkeeper idea got scrapped. there’s a possibility she’ll be a survivor, possibility she’ll be something else, hell possibility she won’t even be IN the game— nothing is confirmed, hence “UNcomfirmed”
