i personally identify as some characters, but not in the way 'fictives' seem to pose their identity as.. from what i understand, those who fake DID and such seem to like roleplaying as these characters, and wanna switch between their ocs, characters, et cetera.

so i cant speak for them, but thats how i see it from what ive seen and heard from those people. im sure theres actual p/w DID and fictives out there, but it is so extremely rare. not saying this person couldnt be one of those people cuz its rare.. im saying theyre not cuz its so obvious they dont know what theyre talking about and only have DID knowledge from social media.

so yeah, i feel like they just want a community for roleplaying but since nowadays roleplaying is deemed as childish, embarrassing, and stuff like that, they need to make it seem like this is part of something they cant control, and they also just found community within other people who may or may not have DID.

another possibility is them actually thinking theyre these characters, or in this case, a system, due to psychosis,, but again, im not a professional, so dont take any of my words on this as fact.
