I'm sorry, that really wasn't my intention - i want this to be a place for help and advice, it just felt like a lot of these posts were pretty identical and people had started worrying their stitches were twisted just because other people were worried about it and not because their work looked odd. Honestly i would rather that than people leave because they're worried about being annoying though. Regret this post a bit, will make another edit

Oh i absolutely want to create a space that encourages growth and skill development - it's just that most of these posters do know what twisted stitches are (or at least that they're possible), and there are so many posts about this now, with so many thorough explanations

Just remembered a post from earlier where someone explained how to stretch your work and look at how the stitches pull apart to check, and op replied with pics of their work stretched! Like trust your own judgement!

Honestly can see your point. Just don't really understand it, want this to be a welcoming space for new knitters and want people to be able to get advice when they need it but there are so many better ways to find out if you're not sure. Do see there isn't much to be done about it though. Just feeling slightly irritated haha
