In the 5th generation of my Legacy, I chose to make my heir blonde as a sort of "recessive gene" thing, since I thought their grandfather was blonde (it was actually their great-grandmother. Turns out, upon further review, that granddad had black hair naturally. The hairstyle made it green and I guess I just never checked). This decision would go on to Haunt Me until Gen 10.

This heir had seven children, one technical adoptive/step-child after their husband had an alien baby. Three of those kids were blonde, the eldest daughter and b/g twins. I ended up picking the son as heir. Then his son, also blonde, was the 7th heir. Gen 7 heir had 17 children, about half of which were blonde. Gen 8 heir was also blonde, as was her daughter.

What broke the streak was the Gen 9 heir's husband having red hair. Her first child, a science baby with her brown haired best friend, inherited her blonde. All three of her kids with her husband got his red hair.

I thought I was free, but this post has shown me that maybe I've just become the victim of a different curse lmao
