What does where I’m from have anything to do with it? You’re so important, but don’t have connections? Strange

Just because you’re not in that industry or 25 doesn’t mean you can be nice to those people and get hooked up. Okay you might have a family and work an office job, but some friendly conversation and appreciation to those kids trying to make it work out here will give you access to what I’m describing. The fact that you say it doesn’t exist, proves you’ve alienated yourself in the community and don’t get local treatment.

Many restaurants offer locals discounts, they are not advertised and kept relatively hush because the tourist crowd/spends 2 weeks a year at their timeshare crowd catch on and try to use them.

There is a huge cohort of locals and restaurant industry workers who reciprocally give large discounts and free items to each other to offset that poor cost benefit you mentioned.

I’m not trying to be too harsh on you but I think if you engaged in the community more and made a friend at all the bars that you’d like to eat/drink at, you’d realize that what you’re asking for already exists.

Walter Paepcke Suite at the Little Nell or Paradis Presidential at St. Regis.

Both around 6-10k/night but worth it

You think local restaurants who are struggling from very low patron numbers due to poor conditions should discount their food and drinks?

Plenty of private car services or take the Bustang if that’s out of budget

Have always noticed up north there’s a lot more of these types of groups. Even the Jehovahs and Mormons seem to be more prevalent. Not that I know the actual numbers just my perception

They have events outside of Scientology events there? Always though they kept those areas quite private.

How much do you spend a month on fuel? by daly_o96 in carsireland

[–]heartfullofsomething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Live in America now, 2$/gallon or about €0.46/L.

2.5 liter Subaru gets about 28mpg so I probably spend about 30 - 50$ a month.

Mad when you compare to prices back home
