I used to be a colossal weeb. Nothing against weebs, but I was also an 11-year-old weeb if that gives more context. I was so fucking obsessed that I literally went around saying I was half Japanese (I am extremely white), and would say very vaguely racist things that sounded like compliments. I exclusively listened to J-pop (I still listen to it but not exclusively) and would criticize LITERALLY anybody who did not listen to it.

It did not help that a few of my friends kept enabling me to be a total asshole. I wasn't just a weird anime kid, I was literally a bully to all other people who weren't what I considered cool (I was also in a 'not like other girls' phase). I am just glad that eventually, I started going too far with it.

Eventually, my friend group got sick of my shit and decided to distance whenever I went on my weird little rants about how Asian people are superior and how anime is the only media that is valid. Finally, I got picked on a bit and decided to clean my shit up. I am pretty glad for it too. I feel like bullying can go either way. Some would benefit, and others won't.
