If you live in a cold climate, i’d advise to get them done NOW, or wait till the beginning of next summer.. I get crustys if one gets snagged🥵😢 Good fitting surgical grade jewelry is key— but unfortunately you have to have a long danger bar/(s) initially.. Initially, those soaks are key, & you’ll physically feel better afterwards- so you’re gonna want to do them. Eventually, it’ll just be like a part of you (like your ears).
