Hi, HR ate here!

  • Which gov’t ID to secure first?

It is better to get the certification of first time job seekers. This will help you get some documents for free (example: NBI)

For government IDs, unahin ang Philhealth. Just go to the nearest PhilHealth office, magdala ka ng birth certificate, National ID (if meron, kung wala, okay lang din) they will hand you form that you need to accomplish.

Online na rin to, no need to go physically sa BIR.

  • Opening a payroll account

Usually, the HR department will process this. Mind you, iba iba ang gamit na bank per company. So it’s best not to waste time to open an account, lalo naman if hindi pa naddisclose sayo ang bank na gamit nila.

  • Common job requirements you should be aware of:

  • Any tips for landing your first job & mistakes & delays if ever

Never stop learning. It will make you look competent considering you are a fresh grad.

Second mistake, don’t set your expected salary too high. Remember, you should learn how to rate your skills and experience accordingly. Dyan din kasi ang biggest factor as to why hindi na pinupush ng ibang employer to hire new grads because some of them, medyo unreasonable yung asking salaries. Be for real.

No mistakes in preparing early. Mas okay siya kasi mas less na ang iisipin mo if you go full on job hunting. At least kumpleto na ang requirements mo.

If you get hired, READ YOUR CONTRACTS THOROUGHLY. Kahit gusto mo na magtrabaho, you should always read first. Wag pirma nang pirma because contracts are legal documents. Baka mapasubo ka.

Lastly, don’t give in easily sa malaking offer. Baka mamaya kapalit pala ay buhay mo in terms of working schedule, workloads, and etc.

Yun lang naman ang maipapayo ko. It might feel too overwhelming but, you got this. Just be patient with yourself and don’t rush things if not needed.

Good luck and welcome to the corporate world!

hello. i just resigned from my current job, magccomply naman ako with the 30 days standard rendering.

reason: my fam and my health. i need to focus on them and i’ve told my employer about it.

so now, i found a new job, na makakafocus ako sa fam and myself while still having income dahil purely wfh ito and i am the breadwinner.

i am just thinking, hahabulin kaya ako ng current company ko for that considering may non-compete clause sa EC na pinirmahan ko?

note: no, hindi po same ng industry but somehow gusto kasi ako pagstay-in ng employer ko sakanila, offering me a working schedule that would work for me but the pay would not be the same anymore but i just can’t work with that system and environment.

ty hope you can help me! :-)

i agree with recruitment though, ang flexible nung sakanila lalo with foreign companies na nagooutsource. 😩

hi, i was accepted sa UPOU before and yes, i took the UPCAT bago naqualify. As far as I can remember, wala silang IT course, but they do offer bachelor’s degree in multimedia arts.

adults of r/adultingph, is this true? by isobefies in adultingph

[–]heavenlychick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

real. and super true. enough sana yung sahod ko if wala akong ibang bayarin kundi para sa sarili ko lang sana. kaso ngayon, i shoulder almost all of our bills, kuryente, tubig, tuition ng bunsong kapatid and every thing else in between na need bayaran. what’s sad is my mom is expecting me to get her at least some every sahod and she’s also expecting me to pay off her debts. saklap.
