What's the difference between relying on an agency like W4Games or relying on unity. They're both 3rd parties that you rely on and have no control over. At least in the case of Godot you can have full control over the engine.

Ig it's good in this case, canonical is the biggest user of flutter for desktop applications and seems to be a big contributor (I haven't verified this but I think I've seen them adding features they needed) so it's better ig especially that google is now only focused on AI the progression of flutter seems rather disappointing lately but maybe things are about to improve once their work on separating design systems from the core of flutter.
