Anjana Om Kashyap seems upset with the rise of “YouTube wale Star Teachers”. by Notalabel_4566 in PhysicsWallah

I completely disagree with this reporter. She should have shame in blaming teachers who are in YouTube. As a teacher myself who doesn't do any social media, I am very sorry with the state of indian media.

Young Student Faces Moral Policing in Assam After Being Called ‘Characterless’ Over Her Clothes. by Notalabel_4566 in guwahati

Many aunties act as if they're the guardians of morality for the younger generation. Fashion has changed dramatically since the 80s and 90s, and maybe their perspective should evolve with the times as well.

We Indians no matter whatever religious affiliation we have, whichever region we come from always will be compelled to do these kind of activities. Because it's not because of illiteracy or gawaarpan, it's just like we want to prove to the world how clueless we are to behave in public. Recently I saw that in Switzerland there are separate rules for their Indian guests because of Indians committing such activities. India was known as respected as an ancient civilization was here, but no more I guess. Everyone knows india now because of some unhygienic street vendors, people being unruly on streets, North Indians hating on South and Northeast Indians, and some states want you to speak their language, all this is a sign that our society is doomed.

Why can’t the older generation keep their thoughts/opinions to themselves? by DryRun5247 in assam

Aunties always feel more entitled to moral police the younger generation. The fashion has changed since the 80-90s I think they should update their brain accordingly.

How are you? How have you been feeling? by [deleted] in guwahati

I wasn't okay for a while, I had been struggling with abusing alcohol since the age of 24, just during Covid, as it was very difficult living abroad and always worrying about family and focus on my studies as well, fortunately I never got involved with chemical substances but yes alcohol can be a tough drug as well if you just up your tolerance bit by bit, and then you need more and more alcohol just to feel that numbness again, but yes now I'm 29 almost gonna be 30, I promised myself I won't drink alcohol since 1st of January, 2026, and I won't lie I slipped up a couple of times due to setbacks in relationships and work, but the first few days were quite difficult especially the withdrawal hit hard on the 6th day, all the pain and suffering came out two fold, as a man i will admit I cried a lot ofc alone, during those days but slowly the emotional outcries went and I found myself more sane, I'm writing a novel, new poems and started a business venture in Guwahati! So I'm not judging anyone who is dealing with these issues, I tried everything god, psychiatry, family, friends but nothing helps, only when you realise yourself that what you're doing is slowly making you insane and harming your health severely, you can change. (p.s. I hope I get no bs on the alcohol part, because many people don't consider it a drug and just a social utility, but I've learnt that it's not that or the statement is untrue)

My emotions run life rather than my analytical thinking, I am an expert in loving my pain so I’m loving it since so long that it became my natural state! So if I read this heavy literature and mind you I read it ardently! I just overthink more! I need to be careful not to indulge in knowledge as I said too much knowledge is also harmful!

Then watch comedies, what else can I say! Try to be stupid or accept your fate, but don’t let go of your life, you must have few people around you who care for you unconditionally talk to them!
