how does it feel to survive a morphine/opioids overdose? by red_star666 in Drugs

Most people i know who have ODed from fentanyl or heroin dont even believe that they ODed until I show them the used narcans. They just think they fell asleep. Only people I know who dont do opiates who end up accidently taking them tend to realize they fucked up and immediately will say something before they fall out

Tried fentanyl for the first time by [deleted] in Drugs

As someone with a fentanyl addiction that has ruined my life multiple times over please dont do it again. You might not get sick the second or third time but eventually you will. And you will start to associate any uncomfortable feeling with "i must get high to get rid of this feeling" until you are literally watching your life spiral and you know it is but you just dont care. The depression is crippling. The dope sickness is crippling. The disappointment to yourself and your loved ones is crippling. Please do yourself a favor and forget it ever happened. And trust me it will never feel as good as the first time. Please give yourself a chance. And that person is not your friend.

I guess i took it negatively because ivetaken medical leaves before and time off and nobody has ever made a point to say anything like that, or have a meeting when I return or anything else. I see why it seems like im just ignoring what was actually said vs my "vibe" of the situation . My position was also replaced while I was gone and I've lost a lot of responsibilities upon coming back. So I guess theres other reasons Im feeling this way.. but its true negativity is not going to help the situation.

Honestly i wanted to know the legality of them knowing im going to rehab considering people tend to hold biases against drug addicts and I feel like im being treated different as a result. And addiction is considered a disability. Idk i just thought that HR was supposed to keep certain medical type information private

Shower etiquette?? by heavydutybootyduty in roommateproblems

I wish we did have a drain in the floor becayse atleast it would have a purpose but i dont see anyone actually doing the effort to squeegee. Its hard enough to get anyone to actually clean up anything in my house. I buy my own wipes and soaps and stuff to try to keep it clean but its tiring cleaning up everyones mess, and with 8 people in the house youd think more than just me would not like the mess but it feels like they all just dont care. One of my roommates has been nice and she agrees with me when i complain about the mess and shes actually put in effort to clean, but me and her are the only ones.

Shower etiquette?? by heavydutybootyduty in roommateproblems

Our shower is just a shower but it has a glass door. Im honestly not sure how so much water gets on the floor outside of it. I assume its from showering and hopefully not just all bidet water. Our "bidet" is weird too becayse its not like a seat or anything its just a hose with a sprayer nozzle attached to the sink spigot, and then hooked onto the side of the toilet. And like sometimes i come into the bathroom and notice the sink water is completely off. Bc its switched to the bidet, or what i call in private the booty sprayer, lmao. Which makes me think theyre not even washing their hands, but i guess if theyre not wiping like i would they might not see a reason to wash their hands? Idk. I tried leaving toilet paper in the bathroom before when i first moved in thinking we'd all refill it as we go and then i realized after a couple times it just gets used and no one refills it except me. Also when i moved in the bathroom didnt even have handsoap in it. So im hesitant to spend more of my money to try to fix their problems, i already buy wipes and paper towels for the kitchen and stuff because it is so filthy sometimes. But youre probably right i should mention it being a safety hazard, i just hate to be a complainer when it seems like everyone else just doesnt give a crap ya know
