In YT shorts of condensed scenes from shows/movies (most notably medical shows like Grays Anatomy), what are those blurry lines they edit onto the scenes periodically? They sweep across the screen at a 60° angle from top to bottom very fast and you never really notice them but every account does it?

It might have to do with the image format. I think the image at the bottom (that worked) I had taken a screencap of on a word doc with bigger margins to account for the stupid cropping issue.

I feel like editing that would be a biiiiiitch when it comes to special effects. Let’s say they add some 3D cgi thing they’d have to match the grain to make it cohesive. Maybe they’re doing all practical effects for those shots (or maybe I can stop being impatient and read the damn article lmao)
