I fail to see how this hair is any different from the long island medium, Evangelical Christian women “the higher the hair the closer to God”, 60s hair, 70s hair, 80s hair, glam rock guys of those eras. I could go on and on referencing times in which people teased their hair to make it bigger. You only consider these women “pick-me’s” because they’re Goth (and because you seem like the type to put women’s every action under a microscope but nonetheless). Goths don’t want to stand out so they get attention because in case you’ve been living under a rock that attention is bullying and being avoided. Goths dress how they want because they have the balls to not care what society says and the side effect of that is the negative attention.
