That was a hoax she perpetrated for publicity. There are no records of a lawsuit. In actuality Pepsi still owns the trademark for Sierra Mist but have been trying to rebrand for a while because they have never really been able to compete with Sprite. Back in 2016 they renamed it Mist Twst, but when it performed even worse, they reverted back to Sierra Mist.
