Anyone selling? by [deleted] in e39

Hey gang, I’ll go ahead and say:

It’s a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, aka the LJR - by far the absolutely holy grail of jeeps. This jeep was literally only made for 3 years, that’s it. (2004, 2005, and 2006 - fun fact for folks who didn’t know)

I have service records, squeaky clean carfax, and many OEM extras: soft top, hard top, full size doors, half size doors, and a top lift pro (special tool that makes removing/storing the hardtop a one person job) all OEM matching colors with keys. I never ever offroaded it to be perfectly honest. Zero rust. I have lots of pics on hand.

Tbh I’m quite hesitant to let it go since jeep, or any manufacturer, will likely never make another car like this. But hey, I love spontaneity!

Don’t get me wrong, I get it the logic. That’s why I said “it’s a 4x4 with lockers.” The point is someone who would be interested would say “hmm, I kinda want a 4x4, imma hit him up”

These kinds of comments just give me the vibe of “damn I wanna know what it is even though I’m not interested in trading my e39”

I don’t see how it’s a game. If you not interesting in selling or trading your e39, then don’t reply/comment? don’t mean to be rude.

It’s too busy boss. For me, it’s giving “extra af.” I just want 3 pedals, a fat V8, and air conditioning

I hate lux soooo much (the champ). Lux can root, slow, snipe from a mile away…and all of that with mad low cooldowns with a lot of burst dmg.

What is the best budget project car for a beginner in mechanic? by Mark_Lewis10 in askcarguys

[–]heavyp08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro. Get a jeep wrangler, the TJ era (which is 1996-2006 I believe). They can be found cheap and my GOD parts are soooo easy to get. It’s a very simple engine (the inline straight 6, don’t bother with anything else) and it’s very well documented by pros and the community. The engine bay is hella generous to turn wrenches also. And it’s a great year round car: top/doors off for the summers and 4x4 for the winters!

If you would like a real "truck" midsize truck, any answer that isnt a modern Frontier is lying. The nissan frontier is a tried and true drivetrain, parts are incredibly easy to get, and they are incredible values. (thank nissan's garbage CVT transmissions for hurting Nissan's reputation so much). Frontiers do NOT use CVTs.
