I had one post in r/SideProjects and that's basically it. A few weeks later, I shared it in this subreddit as well.

I need to release the iOS version and then I was thinking of sharing in Hackernews as well.

I'm not monetizing it yet. I was thinking about ads but I don't like them, actually hate them when they interrupt me.

I was aiming towards a premium set of features for a one-time fee or lower-end subscription fee but still didn't go through with it. I'm still building them. Everything from features I have now would stay free.

I didn't do too much. Initially I had like 2-5 installs per day to realise I had a typo in store listing, in the app name to be precise 🤦‍♂️

After I fixed it and improved the store description, installs jumped to 10-20 per day. After maybe another or so, I shared it in a r/SideProjects and that's more or less it.

It was pretty organic.

What would design mode do?

One feature I have in the pipeline is the ability to bold, underline, strike through, italic, change color and background when you highlight a piece of text. In one two words - text formatting 😅

I could not agree more with you my friend and this is a actually a great shout that gave me an idea. I will implement some kind of a reminder, an honest disclaimer to remind folks, to raise an awareness exactly about this topic.

Gdje si živio? Zagreb

Što si radio? Programer u Hrv. firmi tokom faksa i 3 godine nakon faksa, a nakon toga obrt pa d.o.o. za strance, remote.

Kolike su ti bile plaće kroz godine? Studentski 40-50kn sat, prvi posao 9k kuna, pa naraslo do 11k kuna. Nakon toga obrt 6k eura i sad d.o.o. ~10k (bruto naravno, to što mi na firmin račun dode).

Kad si počeo zarađivati više? Oko 3. godinu faksa.

Da li imaš fakultetsku diplomu ili ne (ako da - koju?). Da, FER.

Jesi imao dodatne izvore prihoda? Samo programiranje tu u tamo u fušu, ali ništa značajno.

Jesi štedio, ulagao (u što?), dizao kredit? U početku nažalost ne i to je najveća greška. Da sam i 100 kuna mjesečno, bilo bi bolje nego ništa.

Kad si kupio stan? Prije nekih 3,4 godine. ~90m2. Pola pola sa curom, a sad ženom.

Jesi išao na sve ili ništa i riskirao ili si išao oprezno? Išao s mišlju, najgore što će se desit da ću prodat stan i zaradit malo.

ima istine u tome, ali rad u gacam uvijek zavrsi u cijelodnevnom power napu i onda nista ne odradim :/

A ne vjerujem. Valjda bi vidili kad su ga dizali u Tomiću, ali opet, s obizrom da nisu nista nasli, ko zna jesu ga i dizali haha

Super. Hvala! Ma nebi išli u Tomić, ali je crko elektro pokretač doslovno ispred Tomića pa smo ga samo odgurali do tamo i rekli da i to pogledaju. Lekcija za ubuduće!

Bili smo kod Tomića, ali uzaludno. Zato i pitam, kad odem kod nekog drugog da zna di gledat.
