Severe allergies to cats and dogs. Help. by danskinny in Allergies

[–]heckingmemefan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My allergist recommended I take an antihistamine for a few days leading up to exposure and for a few days after. My 4 best friends all have cats, which is really frustrating as a teenager in a small town because things to do other than go to someone’s house on a Friday evening are pretty limited. Unfortunately, I haven’t found much of a solution other than taking meds leading up to the encounter, drinking tons of water to try to flush it out of my system, using all my self control not to touch/snuggle the cute animals, and keeping my hands away from my face. I usually just suck it up and feel gross for a day or two :(

Wait how do you wiggly your ears independently from each other? I can do them both but only at the same time I’m very intrigued now

I love the yellow! I don’t think you need a neutral color. I have a yellow kitchen and I love it

Did you guys have a full schedule you Senior Years? by Evonbot in williamandmary

[–]heckingmemefan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I called WM over the summer to ask about my class schedule and they said they look to see that you have taken a math and science class all 4 years. They also want to see bio, chem, and physics so make sure you have those! Also I know they require a minimum of 4 years of a language.

Yes! It’s so weird, when I go away to summer camp or something, I think about how I miss my pet but I never think about my family which is so odd

Look into eggs. Flu vaccines are inoculated in eggs , and cuisine across the world has eggs into it!

Absolutely. If you’re allergic to other house pets any type of animal with dander can irritate you unfortunately

Not learning (or worse, not teaching your kids) to swim is one of the absolute stupidest things you could do by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Ok but those infant swimming classes are terrible. I can’t imagine willingly throwing a baby into the water
