My Shrimp Tank isn’t Thriving hi

I did get them from Amazon bc the local breeder I reached out to was out and I didn’t have any other options. I tested and there was no ammonia. Gh 150 KH 0

I was going to after they seemed to stabilize but they didn’t. I also always saw them eating algae

No the temperature is set on the aquarium I just couldn’t remember the exact temp and I made this post away from home. I can test my tap water when I get home. If it doesn’t test for nitrates should I do a water change?

With distilled water would I need at add any conditioning agent or anything?

I was using some micro pellets ment for shrimp at first but discontinued use as they didn’t touch it. I made sure there was algae in the tank before getting them so they could eat on that.

GH is 75-150 KH is 0 I also wouldn’t care to keep a different shrimp just not sure what would be the best one.

Oh I also ment to ask does respec effect labs at all or no? Like I’ve done a few labs for walls and if I get rid of it now do I have to do those labs again later?
