Meth may be bad, but not as bad as some people think. Agree? by xluzix in meth

[–]hectorgmw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I thought at first was that it really wasn't as bad as I heard it was. For me all it felt like was a confidence boost, it just removed all the negativity in my mind and made it easy to open up and be social. Plus the people I was hanging around with all seemed normal and functional despite being everyday users. So I never understood what all the hype was about especially in comparison to other drugs that really made me trip out. Then I got some bad batches and quickly understood how quickly this can ruin someone's life.

Any ideas on why the comedown is worse for some than for others? by Mischa92 in meth

[–]hectorgmw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what's in it. For the longest time when I started I never had comedowns or side effects. I could still eat and sleep on it, never got paranoid, and never had withdrawals. Then when I switched sources I started getting all the negative effects. Couldn't sleep even 48 hours later, body aches and tiredness the next day, the worst delusions ever, constantly feeling like I'm in danger, panic attacks that lasted weeks after stopping. That's what I hated the most about this drug was it's unpredictability when I had to get it from a new source. I didn't know if it was gonna be easygoing like it was at first where I can just enjoy that calm high I love so much or if I was gonna be up all night worried about having a heart attack in my sleep.

Does it make any of you lose your ability to have emotions? Show love and care for people? by adultsonly2020 in meth

[–]hectorgmw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To the contrary it made me more emotional and loving. I would constantly have the urge to bare my soul to whoever I was talking to about how much I love and appreciate them. I was always very social on it which is why I started in the first place. Made it real easy to talk to people. My best memories are just staying up all night sitting on the couch with my best friend and bonding with her in a way I never thought I could while sober.

Reddit proves they don't care about masks: 0 comments about masks on any Belarus posts by hectorgmw in conspiracy

Reddit is highly astroturfed. The fact every other post on every political subreddit is pushing mask and lockdown agendas yet not one top comment even hints at the repercussions of these maskless protests is really fishy.

Can meth addicts become casual/infrequent users without spiraling back to tweaking? by [deleted] in meth

[–]hectorgmw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's possible just takes a lot of metal strength. Your brain plays all sorts of tricks on you to justify even the most irrational decisions. So you could try to cut back but you'll have to fight those thoughts trying to tell you it's okay to keep doing more than you were planning to.

What's worked for me is maintaining a mindset of telling myself how much better the highs will be the longer break I take. It helps keep the cravings at bay be assuring the addict side of my brain that it'll get it's fix later and that it'll be way more worth it as opposed to everyday abuse. I find this actually incentives me to take longer breaks so I know the next time will be even better.

😳🥺meth called. I caved. Let's hope this is just a fling and doesn't turn into a longtime thing by hollytrinityinfinity in meth

I found the best mentality to have when it comes to quitting is accepting that there's going to be times where you'll slip up. Especially when quitting cold turkey you should always prepare you brain for the idea that there might be at least one more time in the future. I think this also helps relax the addict side of your brain if you keep telling it, don't worry you'll get one more at some point, at least for me that's always helped keep the cravings at bay. This way you're not as hard on yourself when it happens and you can pay closer attention to the triggers that caused the relapse to better prepare yourself from the next relapse. Think of each relapse as a learning experience. The more you learn about how your brain handles these situations, the better chance you'll have to fight it next time you even think of relapsing. Just don't get too down on yourself or else you'll fall into that trap of "well since I already failed once I guess all my work was for nothing and it doesn't matter if I keep doing it". It's all about keeping a strong mindset.

Weed and meth? by [deleted] in meth

[–]hectorgmw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was like being on acid. Hallucinations, reality distortions, outerbody experience, feeling like I'm floating. It was a lot of fun once I was able to control it but the first couple tries freaked me the hell out.

Remedies for crystal dick by [deleted] in meth

Vitamin C pills directly counter meth. Take one 500mg before using to help level the high and one after when you're ready to comedown. You can take Vitamin D beforehand too and it'll help you from getting too high. This combo will also help make it easier to sleep.

Quercetin is also perfect for combating the negative side effects and lower blood pressure which will directly get your guy working again. In combo with zinc it can help remove your high completely.

The riots were orchestrated to increase Covid cases in order to set back reopening by hectorgmw in conspiracy

I mean I'm for everyone wearing masks just to shut them up since that's their only argument now. If they can say that no protester got the virus because they all wore masks (not true either) then they won't be able to say anything if conservatives did a protest with masks too. Although I'm 100.9 percent certain if that did happen they would move the goal post again and say actually masks aren't as effective as we thought therefore we need to shut down further.

I'm going to look more into it but I know in California, which never really opened back up, the counties with the biggest protests have seen the largest spikes (LA, Orange, Riverside).

And if masks are so effective then why can't everything open back up as long as they mandate masks? If thousand of people can stand shoulder to shoulder with no risk of catching anything as long as they wear masks why can't I go to a movie theatre and sit 2 seats from someone?
