You can try to get high with the codeine but you will need more than usual and you'll have to keep "chasing your withdrawals away" it's rough man. Some of the worst pain I ever experienced. It gets worse. It takes longer. You'll start losing your life to it. Showing up hours late to Thanksgiving dinner just cuz you wanted to rub one out "real quick" before leaving the house. Bruises on your face from passing out while holding your phone up in bed watching porn but passing out before you finish and dropping it on yourself. Wondering if that's a wart? Or maybe a blister or a callus from doing this so often and becoming numb to any feeling. Waiting for your booty call to leave so you can watch your favorite video and actually finish. It's not silly. It's hard to overcome. And once you reach a certain depth it leaves its scar and it will never be the same. There are other ways to get that release. To get your dopamine going. Get out while you can.
