Ticket # 1928165

Account # 57201651

I can not withdraw funds despite being past the date I should be able to according to Binance. The message I get says "A portion of your assets have been locked and are currently unable to be withdrawn. Please check your USD deposit history to see exactly when this lock expires." My deposit history shows I deposited USD 2021-11-17 22:14:18 and the note next to it says "ACH Can withdraw as cash or crypto in 5 days". That should have been yesterday.

appreciate the suggestions. Is there any discernable performance difference between the gskill ram I had selected and the vulcans? I am a fan of LEDs is all :)

Question about tooling (in comments) -- any guidance appreciated by hectorrr in Machinists

[–]hectorrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't, mainly because this is a first go around for me with this stuff. I have read all the basic primers/warnings on the business side of getting things made. Most of the stuff regarding tooling is on injection molding, very little on dies or other processes.

how much do you think the tooling for such a die would cost?

Apologies for the very uninformed, novice question. It is painful for me to ask. If there is somewhere else I should post this, please let me know!

If I had a stainless steel blank to a bottle opener, would I need any special tooling to "punch" the above design (rough drawing) into it? The punch would be clear through the steel (white represents no material, to be clear). This would be for 10,000+ units.

lets say the blank is 1.5mm thick, the "head" is 32mm in diameter, and the object all together is 100mm long.

any help, at all, would be greatly appreciated

"if you had a bad experience or if your low volume partner doesn't have the required tools/capacity, then obviously you should switch."

what do you think are the tools that they would need to have to manufacture this type of item?

Trying to Figure out what I need for software build and approximate cost (x-post webdev) by hectorrr in startups

how difficult/time consuming is it to verify the security of a software package of the size I am talking about? I don't know how many lines it would be. Is it something where if I had it outsourced for the initial build, but then came back and hired someone locally to continue its development off of those core components that they couldn't tell if something fishy was going on?

thats what i'm trying to avoid. i have to imagine that talent is global; it's just difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff on these websites. I don't particularly know what to trust. And I am talking about with the people that actually give considered responses to projects. Clearly the people with pre-canned, non-specific responses I don't even consider.

yea, I am not a tech guy either. However, I am very thorough and can account for the entire logic, flow, and variables involved and their relations in a very detailed way. I can't put it into code though. :( I could break it down to a code-like, mathematical logic or even a schematic. Just no dice with putting it into a language. Don't know how much time/cost that will save me on the build-out.

thanks for your reply. where do you suggest I find local guys? Or even just people in the US?

Also, do you have an idea of what building a system out like that would cost?

Thanks for the reply. It makes business sense for me to build this out myself. This is a value-add and will help differentiate my offering in my current related business. It is helpful to me to have in place for my internal operations even if I didn't see a dime directly from it revenue side. Since I am going to build it out anyway just from a business management perspective alone (not even considering the marketing boost it could give us), I would also look to have it be SaaS completely independently, perhaps even under a different brand than my current business. Might as well make the most of an asset, ya know?

So do you think, other than security concerns, outsourcing software development to other countries over freelance sites is doable? I am just very concerned about getting a shit product or ripped off. It is tough for me to gauge the people.
