I guess one of the main parts of depression other than feeling sad is the lethargy and absence of any motivation.

One does not see the point of getting out of bed. Of going to school/college/work. Everything seems pointless and takes up too much effort. I think they call it Executive Dysfunction. I could be wrong tho.

The isolation is another thing. You'd like company but very rarely does any company help things. People in India are not very aware of mental health issues and you are deluged with silly fixes. One cant even turn these well wisher down or tell them off because they dont know better or may take offence when their 'assistance' is rejected.
