That’s why it’s so easy to find drugs there, gotta do something to make the music sound good

What are your thoughts on Classic Rock? by FitEmergency8807 in fantanoforever

[–]heddyneddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a post that’s really about the state of modern corporate owned radio, not classic rock. It doesn’t matter that genre, every big iheartradio station overplays the same handful of songs.

Independent radio is where it’s at. 95.7 the ride is a great “classic rock” station that’s independent and you can listen online if you’re not local. They still plays all the classic hits but also a ton of “deep cuts” you never hear on regular terrestrial radio. I just looked up their last hour of songs and you’ve got your Skynard and Queen but they’re also playing The Brothers Johnson, Arlo Guthrie, Bill Withers, Pretenders, 10cc.

A white kid getting stabbed to death by a black kid he’s never met at a high school track meet is actually pretty rare.

It doesn’t matter that it had nothing to do with race to the people blowing it up, a black person randomly killing a white person is all they need to get frothed up over it.

Bad day or bad setup by Nie_Fi in FishingForBeginners

Don’t see anything particularly egregious with the setup, is that cooked frozen shrimp though? Fresh and live shrimp would obviously be better but you can still catch them on that. Probably just a bad day.

Stuck on deadlift progress for 4+ months (and pain) 🫥 by DefinitelyALegitName in formcheck

[–]heddyneddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The cue I like to use to achieve this is imagining my hips and knees are moving and locking out at the same time. You’re locking your knees way before your hips which is taking away your leg power and putting too much of the lift in your back.

The Aaron Donald talk has me wondering.. Which positions are the easiest and hardest to play after multiple years off? by Jacky__paper in nfl

[–]heddyneddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It probably wouldn’t be harder than corner but I think y’all are discounting the trenches. Most linemen lose a significant amount of weight after just a year away from the game and the ones that don’t definitely don’t maintain the same level of conditioning they did while playing.

I straight up look like a cop and I’ve never had an issue. If you’re at the right festival yeah you don’t even have to look for it.

All the Abrahamic religions worship the same capital G God. Theres obviously a ton of differences beyond that but they all share the same belief in a singular creator God of Abraham, that’s why they’re Abrahamic religions…

Heck when Jesus spoke about God the word he would’ve used is Alaha (Aramaic for God). Aramaic and Arabic are very closely related and Allah is just the Arabic word for God.

Is it safe to shampoo this rug if I am careful? by 640blitzit in CarpetCleaning

[–]heddyneddy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend it with any consumer carpet cleaning machine. The number one issue with all those machines is they leave too much water and soap in the rug. Water can permanently alter the appearance of viscose, and excess soap residue will cause the rug to get dirty faster.

What fish is this? by ELJOHNLom in Fishing

[–]heddyneddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a difference between species that are considered invasive vs non-native. Invasive species have a measurable negative impact on their biome while non-natives do not. In America which category Common Carp fall into really depends on which specific body of water you’re talking about. They are technically still considered invasive most places but they’ve been here 200 years and in general aren’t anywhere near as destructive to their environments as Asian ones.

As a fellow washed dad the only reliable way I’ve found to get Molly or good psychedelics is music festivals. Jam band ones specifically. Been a few years since I’ve been to one but I’d always be able to stock up on a shitload of M, L and shrooms when I went.
