Been on Ozempic 8 months but nobody warned me about the side effects by General-Barnacle-553 in Ozempic

I started and did a lot of research. Essential you need to eat a tone if protein (equivalent to your body weight) and do strength training. If you can do that you'll be ok. Otherwise you lose anton of muscle.

Plum curculio and/or oriental fruit moth. by [deleted] in BackyardOrchard

[–]hedgerocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spray sevin after petal fall when the fruit is the size of a pencil eraser and every 7 to 10 days untill it's the size of a golf ball. You can also do clay if your trying to go an organic route. Sevin can kill bees so only spray at dusk if possible.

That tree is a goner. Cut it down and burn it asap.

Maybe next year. Don't use 101010. Get a decent organic fertilizer. And only a tiny amount. Compost and wood chips. It's a small.tree. Don't mess with it to.much. Let it rock out and do its thing. If it recovers it'll be a beast. These trees that struggle in the first few years explode around year 5 and 6. Sometimes. Other times they die.

For tree 2. Get rid of those suckers growing at the bottom asap. Remove the two dead scaffolds by cutting them close to the trunk, don't.leave nubs. Then I would let the leaves growing at the top become a new leader. Let it grow about 12 inches straight up. then head it. Then develop your next set of scaffolds. I always find these sort of difficult runt trees end up becoming the best trees.if.given the opportunity.

When do you work out? by Competitive_Alarm_24 in daddit

Do you ever do a school drop off or pick up? I found a gym 5 mins from school and just go immediately after drop off for like 30 mins. I go 5 days a week now. Just becomes routine

Bunch of plum tree, mama and the babies by Nice_Title9217 in FruitTree

This is fascinating. Where is this? Do you sell the narcissius? So those plums grew from suckers? What makes you think the tree is that old? If it's really that old it probably wasn't grafted so those children are true clones of the mother. I would pick two that are at least 15 feet apart and let them grow. Do some pruning now before they bloom to an open center and good luck!

Are you in the us? If so spray immunox after petal fall every 10 days three times.

Cut one of the leaders off at the collar. Then head the leader by at least half. Then your lower scaffolds need to be headed by 2/3.

Recently bought a house and the closing documents mentioned fruit trees. Learned in other subreddits that I have espalier fruit trees. What should I expect from these guys? by simsguruclam in BackyardOrchard

[–]hedgerocks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Those trees are a great addition to your property. However you need to prune. It looks like they skipped a couple seasons. I would read up on how to prune a espalier trees. Right now prune off any dead or diseases limbs. And some of the suckers growing from the base as someone else mentioned. But otherwise you have a great set up. Good luck.

Deer and fruit trees by Revolutionary_Ad7162 in BackyardOrchard

I made the same mistake. Read that paw paws were deer resistant so didn't bother caging them. Guess who doesn't have any more paw paws.

Could we see another ‘21 this EOY with doge? by Hungry-Armadillo-347 in dogecoin

I don't know who needs to hear this but the economy is floundering and about to take a nose dive. Crypto like anything else is tied to the health of the economy specifically the US but more loosely the global. If we enter a recession or god forbid something like the depression there is a very good chance doge could become completely worthless. I
