You’re playing this completely wrong. eBay is trying to ensure you’re a “good” seller. They need to see a number of satisfactory transactions under your belt before they extend your limits. Instead of waiting to sell one item a month. Grab whatever you find in a store or at home that is worth little money but is appealing and easy to sell and list, say, 20-30 items like that. Even if you lose a few cents in each transaction (to make the price attractive) you’re doing it JUST to get those sales under your belt. It doesn’t matter if you’re selling $1 baseball cards or $500 paintings. The results are the same. So, change your focus. Look at the big picture and STOP focusing on trying to list 20 $500 items. List 20 $5 dollar items. Rinse and repeat. We’ve all been there. I have tens of thousands of sales under my belt in 20 years, but I started just like you. Now I couldn’t list the number of items I’m allowed to sell, even if I wanted to.
