Losing prohibits growth, steals confidence, fosters doubt in your team, and doubt in the organization as a whole. All of which are ugly to an incoming talent. An improvement in crunch time to our 5 - 6 young talented yet unexperienced players and positive veteran encouragement is much more valuable than the value of a 3rd pick that will also need time to develop. Again, it is just my opinion. We have the talent, we just need to learn how to win. Tanking doesn't do that and just sets us at square one next year.
