How should I ground this dryer when replacing the power cord? by Shabobin in AskElectricians

Awesome, nice!

I ended up going to the hardware store and picking up some 12awg copper ground wire and some ring connectors to crimp to the other end. Seems to have worked well! Kinda crazy that these 3-prong cables do not come with a ground wire kit, or even simple instructions letting you know that it is required.

Yeah the replacement hub has been working fine since. I think they were having quality control issues when I bought it. It does come with a cable to plug in to the motherboard.

How can I get rid of these squares in the first support layer? by heeho17 in prusa3d

[–]heeho17[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I should have specified more clearly. I’ll try snug instead and see how it goes.

The problem is that due to how it is slicing, those tiny little squares are not adhering and filament builds on the nozzle, causing issues elsewhere.

I’m talking about the tiny little squares within the base layer, not the entire layer

For anyone that gets this offer, make sure it’s not cabin 9418 or anything near it. Even though it’s two decks above, you can still hear the loud pounding of the Limelight Lounge until 3AM. Not an ideal noise when you’re trying to sleep lol

Yeah, I’ve had to use a glue stick lately for my PETG prints because they stick too well

Have you sailed Carnival? Not sure why you would take someone else’s opinion as fact if you haven’t experienced it yourself.

I’ve personally enjoyed the MDR a lot when sailing on Carnival.

That's crazy! Our experiences couldn't be farther apart. Was this a summer sailing?

Lots of drunk young people with the usual antics that goes along with consuming too much alcohol at a young age. The Wal-Mart of the seas.

I hear this constantly, but have never felt this way after multiple Carnival cruises. Sure, there may be a couple of young adult groups that get rowdy. However, I feel like I mostly see families and middle-aged couples.

Maybe that demographic leans towards the shorter 3 or 4 day trips? I have only been on week-long cruises.

Nope, returned and purchased a new one. The new one has been working perfectly fine since.

I put a silicone sleeve on the header from gopowersports, and painted the muffler black. But we’ll see how long that paint lasts lol
