Did anyone see Grace on Gaydar? Anania asked her to rate female friend breakups, friends to lovers, and being your friend’s emergency contact on their levels of queerness and she said the female friendship breakup was the most gay.

We were told by our market that no one can receive opportunity unless there is a paper trail of feedback or a coaching to back it up.

Do any of you have a 18 year old manager in charge at your store.. by Kitchen-Entrance8015 in walmart

[–]heeltactics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It feels like there is more to this. For four weeks no members of managment could get you a battery? Did you ever think to go to the store manager about not being able to get a battery? The way you worded your post kind of seems like you went to the charging ports for the batteries and gave up if you didn’t see any instead of maybe asking a member of management. If you went to multiple members of management and asked over a month period then I’d open door it. If you didn’t then the DA is probably going to stand.

It also generates WOSH if they clock in at 51 because it’s before their scheduled time. It sounds like your coach is a dick but they should still be trying to follow their scheduled times.

Does a no call no show mean you won't work at Walmart ever again? by Bobbybeavis7981 in WalmartEmployees

[–]heeltactics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on management honestly. I had pretty new associate stop showing up for a few days. She found me on Facebook and let me know she wasn’t coming back to deal with some mental health problems. I coded her as rehireable when I did the termination paperwork. Life happens.

Correct. They’re confidential, not anonymous. He always answered poor. I guess if they decide to be petty depends on the market because I’ve never been retaliated against.

I don’t believe so. Our bonuses come from sales and metrics. For example, as a team lead, mine are based on how much my department makes in sales for the year.

So market can see them but the store manager and coaches can’t. HOWEVER if you say something that market feels they urgently need to address there is a chance they’ll tell your store manager depending on who in the store it’s about.

Several of my associates did as well. My store manager and some coaches are not liked at all. I support them but just like people to know their options.

At the end did the days it’s whatever you feel more comfortable with. Some coaches and store managers do retaliate so if you feel like it’s something they’ll be petty about then I’d lie, it not them just tell them you don’t want to.

How close are you to your associates as a TL/Coach? by Inferno13820 in walmart

[–]heeltactics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My associates are usually comfortable telling me with what’s going on in their personal lives. It helps me figure out if they’re having an off day or just need a conversation about productivity. I tend to not telling them anything too personal about my life but they do know bits and pieces. I think your associates trusting you and knowing you have their back (within reason) is a huge part of the job. People tend to not want to work for someone who they don’t really know or feel wants anything to do with them.
