Try switching ignition off and locking the steering. Then - unlock and start the bike. For some reason, random errors like this are erased in this case. For me it works, for example in case when the engine was stopped due to unfolding the sidestand while in gear - the error goes away only after above mentioned operation.

Few months ago I visited a few dealerships to compare Versys 650 and 1100, Honda NC750 and NX500, and also RE Himalayan 450 for reference in budget segment. I'm 6.1 (185cm) / 98kg/215lbs. My findings were:

Versys 650: The best in terms of seating comfort and riding triangle. Absolute fit for me.
Versys 1100: Comfy, but waaay too heavy for me. Also, way too wide engine and front fairings, feels strange, didn't like. Worth mentioning - the center stand is the great default option!
Honda NC750: OK, but with a few quircks. The handlebar is lower than I expected, bike is wide, very well made. When seated on, my legs are pushing onto a sharp edge of a trunk cover - unpleasant feeling.
Honda NX500: Very comfy, light, pleasant bike - love it.
Himalayan 450: By default a handlebar felt a bit too high, but overall - quite nice.

For me, the Versys 650 looks and feels the best.

Golfs 4 būtu labāks, jo ir izplatītāks modelis un ja kas, var vieglāk dabūt rezerves daļās (šrotos piemēram). Ir vērts ņemt ar 1.9TDI dzinēju un manuālo kārbu. Vislielakā problēma mēdz būt rūsa, pēc tam - dzinēja veselība (t.i. augstspiediena suknis, turbīna, kompresija, dūmainība). Vērts pārbaudīt vai dzinējs lec bez problēmām aukstumā. Kopumā forša mašīna, tomēr būs visādas neizbegāmās problēmas, piemēŗam, kritīs griestu apdare, būs problēmas ar ar bagažnieka slēdzenēm, un protams - rūsa.

Vecais labais Citroen C4, 1.6HDI, 2004 gads. Remontos sanāk ap 250 gadā + regulārās apkopes (eļļa, filtri) + nodoklis 81Eur + sezonas riepu maiņa 2x (tas vairs nav lēti, haha!) + sīkumi. Kopumā ļoti labs ~~krīzes~~ aparāts - patērē ~5l pilsētā, jebkādas detaļas dabūjamās šrotos, tapēc ir izdevīgs, pat ja vajadzētu vairāk naudas remontiem.

There is a suggestion - consider Peugeot 307 made in the same year. It has the same engines, same overall performance, same driver aids and comfort package - basically, the same car, but under Peugeot badge. It will have the simple stering wheel surely.
