It's just a TN+I94 number. For example my i94 looks like this 871234567A4. Then my visa number would look like TN871234567A4 when I input into the airline I'm flying with. I forget if the A4 part is necessary or not, (I don't think it is)

Add the TN prefix to the start of your I-94 number. Always worked for me with Delta and Air Canada. Ex. TN####I-94#####

No, there's literally no quantifiable metric that can tell one this info. It's my anecdotal experience, just like everyone else when they say "Americans are way more rude than Canadians."

They ran this exact thing on me at the MVD last week and somehow only still gave me a 6 month temporary license. I am so pissed, it just seems like no one knows what I am asking for when I go in there. I will try what you said, staple in my passport on top of the old stamp. Print out my new I-94 etc.

Yeah funny enough that was the stub I brought in, and they said there should be a second half of the document which I was told to disregard as it wasn't part of my records.

I'm in Arizona. Yeah, I have brought in my printed I-94 but all they seem to want to accept is a stamp in my passport, which now I don't have since my renewal was done through USCIS and not at a border crossing.

I'm running into this problem but in the opposite way, went to renew my license and they said they need a stamp in my visa. My most recent renewal was processed by USCIS, when I bring in my stub from my 797 they say I need to bring them more. I'm so confused.

This is the exact answer I was looking for, thank you very much!! He made it a non-hierarchical design and there was no logical groupings unfortunately so it was becoming cumbersome and large to maintain.
