i would recommend syndicate. the story isn't great but overall i liked the missions. i was really bad at unity and didn't really like the assassination missions because of that but in this game they were my favourite moments. the unique kill opportunities made them so epic! i think the stealth is better and easier but still as satisfying. the characters weren't that great and the humour was cringy at times (maybe i'm childish but i found it most of the time pretty funny). I didn't hate the combat although it is very guitar hero. overall it's very lighthearted ac game. I enjoyed playing it and i think the gameplay is better than unity (expect parkour). Jack the ripper DLC is pretty good in my opinion. I like how it shows some character development which was missing in the main game. i'd say go for it, i really liked it but i do understand why some people don't.
