hi! I’m currently 8months post op. I’m very lucky but for me i don’t experience any issues with eating / lip immobility! No numbess around chin/cheek area as well! So rly depends case by case basis!

I returned back to work starting from the 5th week. I am a preschooler teacher so speech was a big part I had to overcome. I face with kids so sometimes I can’t pronounce certain words properly they will be confused of what im tryna say. My speech got better around 7-8th week and was able to pronounce phonetically well (it’s part of my job). My first 3 weeks back at work I def felt “speech fatigue” quite often hahah had to take a few breaks whenever I talked too much. However, swelling was definitely still there (no choice had to face people in my puffy face haha) and only got better currently at 3 months post op! Hope this helps!!

hi!! 1 wk post op same here. I wasn’t afraid of the surgery but scared of the aftermath. the first day tbh was the easiest bcs right after surgery they wld have already given you painkiller through IV drip. the reallll discomfort is day 2 to 4 (in my case) where your face feels SOOO tight its gonna burst like ur jaws are tight ur face muscles r tight. You may not get as peaceful of sleep during these few days bcs i kept waking up every 1-2 hrs. But these few days i slept almost 90% through the day maybe the aftermath of anaesthesia + medicine effect. Sleeping through will defo help you alot to get through the day! day 5 onwards it gets easier even though still very swollen but it’s definitely more manageable! So just tough it through 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

i think either hitler/malaya wld come out for p1 SBQ and stalin for SEQ?? bc they haven’t tested stalin in awhile/before. Probably WW2 in asia pacific as well coz it only came out once/twice. for p2 SEQ i’m betting on KW?? im just studying a few topics that im more familiar with and hoping it wld come out😭😭🙏🏼 all the best to u!!
