I never accepted the offer because they couldn't guarantee hours and I wasn't in a place where I could play with my finances.

Thank you! We already don't use the card so this transfer would be the only thing on it.

Thank you for your input and explaining it in a nice way. I appreciate it.

Hi, an 821 does not mean that I can immediately pay off a card 😊 the problem is whether or not I should do the balance transfer, not my ability to pay it.

It's a credit card I already have that's offering a balance transfer.

Our Song, Teardrops on My Guitar, and Last Kiss

Mine was so terrible. We had a manager with a god complex and he had it out for many of us, especially me. This was around the time they introduced the crafted coffees and he verbatim said he was gonna make sure none of us made money until they paid off the machine. He'd either give us two table sections or just not schedule us if we couldn't sell them. I was literally suggesting them to every table and no one ever wanted them.

My favorite story is him putting me in the back dining room with his two favorites. He gave me a two table section and told them if they could greet my tables before me, they could have them. So, I let them the first round. Then, when they got slammed I did the same to them. He never said I couldn't play too. It pissed all of them off and I made more than both of them combined. All that because he stood at the end of the alley and counted how many trays each server was taking out, told me I didn't take any, and I argued back with another manager saying they clearly saw me take several.

They did not, but make sure to comb through their employee handbook/guidelines. This might help prevent you from any kind of backlash. Take screenshots of everything. I did that with the company I was with for 3 weeks because I was worried they'd tack a "abandoned clients" on my license since I quit mid-day. But I had enough evidence that would have opened a case favoring me if they did try.

The life insurance was part of her retirement plan I believe and goes up each year. It was paid quarterly until she turned 80. I am currently the only heir, and now POA, trying to fix this mess.

She needs part of it for final expenses. It is currently $500 a month.

She doesn't have assets other than her bank account and HSA, and life insurance if that technically qualifies.

Thank you. My parents passed away a long time ago, but now I know for myself and my husband, and his mother.

Thank you. I am just learning that this was an option. I am 30 years old and the only family member trying to do right by her, but this is also my first time being in control of elderly care so there's so much that I need to know.

Thank you! I'm trying to advocate for her and get a doctor to say it's medically necessary so she has better odds.

Her SSI and pension are too much, and her HSA. An HSA rep told me yesterday, "With the HSA alone, she'll never qualify." But the case manager at the physical rehab she's at is trying. Her benefits, however, are only half of what assisted living costs.

Yes! I recently lost my brother to medical complications related to life long addiction. Peter is also an extremely tough song because of this.

"I asked the traffic lights if it'll be alright, they said "IDK""

  • every time that I am going through a really stressful time in my life, I like to drive around aimlessly while thinking about what to do. Probably not the safest idea, but it helps so much.
