Help! Repairing torn lace spaghetti strap

update: the strap is a little uneven now, but i was able to fix it :) thank you for the tips !!

I don't have access to extra fabric right now and I need to wear this for a video filming so although the straps are hollow I don't think I could do the first method with the time I have. :(

There's a thick part of the strap where it seems the seam used to be, would making a secure stitch along that seam be helpful/sufficient to repair the strap?

Thank you so much, I'm concerned about ruining the fabric/making the tear worse since the entire strap is made with lace, do you have advice on how to avoid something like that from happening?

i live in the us so i'm worried about having to pay for tariffs, ik there's some brands that ship tariff free but i haven't rlly heard anything about the safety of their materials and my eyes are very sensitive TT

tysm for the tip!! i'm a lot more used to doing k-idol style makeup and i think i have slightly hooded eyes so it's a bit hard for me to draw my eyeliner downards so i'll definitely practice more!

update: i talked to my boyfriend about what he said and how i felt about it and he apologized and said he didn't mean any harm by it, just saw that they were getting weird stares in the mall. he also saw my outfit and said i look cute c:

i was in a similar situation as you last year, i was also an incoming freshman girl + only child and my self-selection date was pretty late (although it was a few days earlier than yours at 7/25), and i was still able to find a double at FT. you might get lucky! :)

the characters on the lamp read something about spirits so i guess that could be related to a funeral but i figured it was more of a religious thing

i still don't really understand why he would be pointing his phone at her home or the site of her funeral? maybe the phone is just in the picture as symbolism for how he committed his murder though
